Honda Cafe Racer

Eric Meglasson lives in Bend, Oregon, and his motorcycling journey has had its fair share of twists and turns. “Over the years, my bikes kept getting faster and faster,” says Eric. “But I started longing for a slower, more fun, naked bike to ride on the street at more reasonable speeds.” Although Eric owned a Monster, he’d been collecting images of café racers for years. “I loved the pure, shiny café racers, but also loved the fat tired, matte-finish bikes. I didn’t even know the term Brat existed at that point.” While recovering from knee surgery after a supermoto race accident, Eric sold a dirt bike to free up some dollars—and started researching his next purchase. “I probably looked at every motorcycle on Bike EXIF. After several weeks of Craigslist and eBay shopping, I stumbled upon ‘Rusty’. I was blown away. The second I saw this Honda cafe racer, I knew it was exactly what I wanted.”

The CB450 was built by Jared Johnson of Holiday Customs, a one-man builder in Portland, Oregon, who shares a shop space with two other builders. The engine has been revitalized with an overbore kit from Superior Sleeve & Machine in Milwaukie, OR. The airbox has been removed, and cone filters fitted. The custom straight pipes are raw steel (“requires lots of WD-40 to keep the rust at bay”) with custom baffle inserts “to keep my neighbors happy”. To accentuate the clean look, the flat bars have a sanded raw steel finish and house just levers and the throttle—no instruments at all. “The local coppers have looked at it, but don’t seem to mind, as long as I hand signal,” says Eric.

The suspension has been lowered 1½” all around with shorter rear shocks and lowered triple clamps; the wheels are 18“ front and rear, shod with 18 x 4.5” Coker tires. The frame has been bobbed at the back, with tabs shaved off, and fitted with a custom seat pan. Aside from the paintwork, the finish on the bike is mostly wire brush on the shinier metalwork, with matte black everywhere else.

JDM Honda Civic Type R

The Honda Civic Type R is the highest performance version of the Honda Civic made by Honda Motor Company of Japan. It features a lightened and stiffened body, specially tuned engine and upgraded brakes and chassis. Red is also used in the interior to give it a special sporting distinction and to separate it from other Honda models. In Japan, a one-make series of Honda Type R cars where privateers can purchase an off-road Type R and compete in a series championship is a stepping stone for many aspiring racing drivers.

1st generation (EK9 chassis)
The first Civic to receive the 'Type R' name was based on the 6th-generation 'EK' Civic. The contributing base model was the JDM Civic 3-door hatchback called SiR, code named EK4. Like its big brother the Integra Type R DC2/JDM DB8, the Civic SiR's transformation into a Type R was achieved by working on the base model and improving it to Honda's idea of a car capable of high performance on the circuit.

2nd generation (EP3 chassis)
In 2001 Honda introduced the next generation of the Civic Type R (EP3) as a unique 3-door hatchback to the UK market, which was manufactured in Swindon, England. This EDM (European Domestic Market) Civic Type R featured a 200 PS (150 kW; 200 hp) 2.0L i-VTEC engine (K20A2) and the regular Type R treatment of seam welding, close ratio 6-speed transmission and uprated brakes, but did not include some of the other higher-end features, such as the helical LSD and red Recaro race-seats, that were standard in the previous generation EK9. However, Honda of Japan marketed a JDM (Japanese domestic market) version of the EP3 (which was exclusively manufactured in Swindon,UK and was shipped to Japan), which retained the highly renowned helical LSD similar to that of the EK9 and red Recaro race-seats. Other differences included a more track-oriented chassis/undercarriage settings as compared to the EDM, as well as a 215 PS (158 kW; 212 hp) i-VTEC engine (K20A) had a fully balanced crankshaft assembly with different intake manifold, exhaust manifold, higher-lift camshafts, higher-compression pistons, chrome-moly flywheel and ECU programming. All of the Japan-spec K20A Type-R powertain were built in Japan and were shipped to the Swindon to be install in the Japan-spec Type-R EP3. The JDM EP3 was also available in the traditional Type R championship white while the EDM was not. The EDM has more relaxed gear ratios and some high rpm torque traded for low rpm torque compared to the JDM .

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries Divorce

After only 72 days, in which 31-year old Kim Kardashian had a lavish wedding to 26-year old NBA player Kris Humphries, she is filing for divorce. Yeah I told you it won’t last, and now Kim Kardashian will be back in the market for men booty and all.

This is just less than a month after Kim Kardashian’s wedding special aired on TV. I guess it took only 10 weeks for the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star to file for divorce Monday, citing irreconcilable differences. Kim Kardashian said: “I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don’t work out as planned.” I bet she knew it won’t last. We all knew it won’t last. Nothing lasts with Kim Kardashian.

Humphries told TMZ he was “devastated” to learn his bride had filed for divorce and is “willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”

TMZ also reported that “one of the main reasons for the divorce was that Kris wanted Kim to move to Minnesota, but once it became clear she wasn’t leaving Hollywood and the marriage was over, Kris was all about the very things he despised.”

It was the first marriage for Humphries, who last played for the NBA’s New Jersey Nets, and the second for Kardashian, who was married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004.

According to the filing in Los Angeles County Superior Court, they have a prenuptial agreement that will dictate how they divide up their assets.

Kim Kardashian Makeup Beauty Secrets

I wanted to first start this blog off by showing you what kim looks like without makeup on. So the above picture shows that but you can also see that kim is really quite a pretty girl. Now, I am not a huge fan of kim kardashian or anything like that. But I will agree that she is pretty and I am doing this blog because a lot of people like kim and want to know about her makeup. Enjoy!

This is makeup look number one because I feel like when you see kim in magazines, this is her typical look. For her face she definitly wears a high coverage foundation, no one's skin is that perfect. She has on a really pretty pink blush, one that is more subtle. I would choose one that is easier to build up. Then for her eyes it looks like she is only wearing a white eyeshadow and maybe some black or dark grey on the outer corners with black eyeliner on her top lashline and on the lower lashline. Her eyes are completely lined all around which gives her eyes a great shape. Of course she has mascara on as well. Then the lips are a nude lipstick and a gloss over top.

I want to start off by saying that I LOVE this look on Kim. She looks very elegant and timeless. So again we have the foundation (you can use whatever works best with your skin) then she has a lovely orangy peach blush on the apples of her cheeks. For her eyes, she most definitly has fake eyelashes on, so use a pair that are long and more natural looking if you choose to wear fake eyelashes. It doesn't look as though she is wearing any eyeshadow at all, so you can leave your lids bare if you would like or use a soft white eyeshadow or even a shimmer nude eyeshadow just to hide and veins in your eyelids. The lips are the most important part here. First, her lips are lined with a deep red liner to really make the lips stand out. Then for the actual lip colour, use a red lipstick that has some orange tinge to it as well. Then overtop, use a clear gloss. Again, love this look. This is a great "going out to dinner" look.

I am not a huge fan of this look on Kim but I figured I would explain it for anyone who wishes to try it out. This look can work for certain people but not everyone can pull this off. So again, the foundation, then for the cheeks it looks like she is only wearing bronzer, and not so much blush. The eyes are the most important feature in this look. For her eyes, she has a dark grey eyeshadow on her lids then her eyes are lined all around. Then the eyeliner has been smudged down on her bottom lashline. You can achieve this smudged look by using a black or dark grey eyeshadow along the lower lashline as well. then top the look with your favourite mascara (I like falsies by maybelline). Then for the lips, use a nude lipstick and some gloss overtop. You could also use a bit of concealer on your lips if you don't have nude lipstick. This will help to keep all the attention on your eyes. I would say this is a night on the town kind of look.

How cute is this look. She reminds me of Pocahontas in this picture. For this look, you want your skin to look really glowy. So be sure to highlight your cheek bones and down the centre of your nose. Then it looks like her face has been heavily bronzed. I wouldn't go too heavy but I would use a bronzer to LIGHTLY contour the hollows of your cheeks and the sides of your forehead beside your eyebrows. Then if you want to, you can contour the sides of your nose as well. For the eyes, use a natural dark brown colour on the outer corners then a soft, shimmery white eyeshadow on the inner corners. Then use a black or brown eyeliner all around your eyes. Then top your eyes off with mascara. For the lips, I would use a very soft pink lipstick colour and a touch of gloss, not too much tho.

Again, I love the red lip on Kim, this is look is a bit different then the other red lip look we saw. Her cheeks have a more defined blush look. I would use a blush that is a more reddish orange colour. Then for her eyes she has her top lashline lined and not the lower lashline like she usually does. Then for the eyelids again I would just use a bit of white or nude eyeshadow. Don't be shy with the mascara for this look since your bottom lashline isn't lined, you don't want to completely lose your eyes in the look. For the lips I would use a very vibrant blood red lipstick.

Kim Kardashian Surgery Before And After Pictures

Kim Kardashian has a strikingly pretty face to compliment her famously curvy body, and although she’s denied plastic surgery rumors her face looks much different than it did just four years ago.

Here she is back when she was known as a “celebrity stylist” attending the William Rast Spring 2007 ‘Street Sexy’ fashion show at Social Hollywood on October 17, 2006 in Los Angeles, California. (To those who are skeptical, this is most definitely Kim Kardashian circa 2006):

Her nose is distinctly different now. The rest of the changes can be attributed to better skin care and makeup techniques, but her sniffer is definitely looking slimmer and more shapely these days. You can’t attribute that to anti-cellulite treatments and QuickTrim. In the after picture from earlier this month, it looks like her lips are injection-free, which is certainly the better way to go. Why go duckface when you have full, bow-shaped lips?

Although Kim denies having any “surgery” her ex husband Damon Thomas claimed that his ex-wife has had “extensive” plastic surgery, including a boob job, and liposuction. Kim hasn’t denied the liposuction, and the divorce papers that leaked claimed that Damon, who was reportedly physically abusive, forced her to have the invasive procedure done.

Kim has also had Botox on camera, and had her cellulite treated with VelaShape, but her bottom usually looks pretty real in pictures. Some claim she’s had butt implants, but she got her booty x-rayed for an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians to prove those rumors wrong.

Recently people have been wondering if the professional celebrity has had any other work done. Maybe nothing invasive, but she may have had some sort of “liquid facelift” (which involves injectables like Restylane to fill in parts of the face.) Combined with Botox, it can create a wrinkle-free look, but may change the shape and look of the face.
